Peppers respond very well to magnesium both mixed into the soil and sprayed on the blooms. It keeps alot of the blooms from falling off so you end up with more peppers.

We use to have a beautiful 20X60 greenhouse. My husband wouldn't let me come near the thing but it was a showcase. He had 60 ft of peppers....all sorts. He would eat the Thai Hots right off the vine. The man is crazy. He lost 20 lbs that summer just from the heat speeding up his metabolism.

I used to grow twenty plus types of peppers because I wanted ripe ones. Most of the peppers in the store are green and they taste so much better when fully rippened. The ripe ones will not cause as much stomach upset as the green un-rippened ones do (like green apples).
