I thought that this is going to create alot of angry feelings and heated debate in the congregation. Remember that the study articles are received several months before they are studied by the congregatiion. To my surprisehere was no concern, no heated debates, no what is going on here. One of the WTBS major doctrines just got dropped andno one noticed.

I remember back in 1995, when that Watchtower came out, I couldn't believe it myself. And exactly as you state it, there was no concern.

An elder told me, this new light doesn't push back Armageddon...... WTF...

It pushes back the dreams of so many that were lied to though !!!

". The WTBTS comes up with an invisible generation.."

'Invisible Generation', 'Invisible Presence ', good grief! We're watching The Butterfly Effect according to the Watchtower.

BTW, I asked two visiting elders last year about the generation change in 1995 and neither was aware of it! Not even the re-wording on P.3 of the WT's. Until I showed them.

    Hey bigmouth,

If you like that, just wait until we get to the invisible Paradise and play with the invisible lions in the yards of our invisible houses. I'm so psyched, I can barely wait.

    Invisibly elated,

What a lot of mumble jumble the generation is a figurative one now, many people no doubt wish the FDS had told them that from the beginning before they had to make so many sacrifices as if the generation was about to end. For 80 years they had been lying about it, don't have children now, don't go to university now because the end is so near and it's pointless.

Therefore, in the final fulfillment of Jesus’ prophecy today, "this generation" apparently refers to the peoples of earth who see the sign of Christ’s presence but fail to mend their ways. In contrast, we as Jesus’ disciples refuse to be molded by the life-style of "this generation."

More whisker words to rule by.
