Just wondering if anybody out there still get the mags and is able to leak them to the internet. Just the other day I realized that I haven't looked at a new Watchtower or Awake in months. I think it's pretty funny that on this board Elders letters and things from HQ get leaked, but the literature doesn't seem to make its way around. Just wondering if anybody has the ability to make them available on one of those free upload servers, or if somebody is allready doing it. Thx

Drew, I understand your request.
As for myself, I don't know how to scan the entire mag, upload the entire mag.
Even if I were to do that, it would take considerable time.
I see folks posting what seems to be the important points from mags, not the
fluff on snow leopards in the mountains, though. If you don't have the magazine, the JW's can give it to you. I know you don't want
to encourage them, but the mags are available. -

Go to your local laundromat and grab a copy.
The dumping grounds for lazy dubs.

Believe me, if I weren't on dial-up I'd do it, but at 41 Kbps it'd take me about 3 minutes per page just for the upload... (That's 96 minutes for a 32 page mag.)
But if worse comes to worse and I'm the only one who's willing, I'll do it.

If I just had a trusted source that could get them to me I would post them up in pdf format. Just offering.

Wouldn't this make the WTS sue for copywright infrindgement again?
That is kinda funny though because if I was writing a publication and giving it away for "free", I would be happy for someone to scan it and then have it availalbe online since I am non-profit. I know the WTS does not think like this!
I can't wait to see the info in the private WatchTowers.

Renee,
Don't know if you have caught it yet but there is alot of info us apostates have leaked to the net that isn't "Brooklyn Kosher" ;)
While having a web site serving and hosting the files directly can cause some trouble, putting them up on random file hosting sites is another story.

I'm not an expert on copyright laws but I'd be leery about posting entire articles or magazines on the Interent, especially with download capaplity.
Instead of hosting PDFs on a site to download from why not just have a handful of "apostates" who are willing to email PDFs to anyone who asks for a copy?
This way you're not posting copyrighted material on the Internet, and any complaint about "giving" the magazine contents away personally can be countered with the Bible quote, "receive free, give free" (which begs the question, why copyright info that is supposed to channeled from God himself and distributed to any and all with a hearing ear?)

My reviews have the weekly WT study article embedded in them.

Oh, I'd be most willing to make the "cult edition" available for all to see.
