I was talking to a pioneer yesterday; he was all excited over the new Memorial tract, said how nice it looked. He commented that the "Society said we don't have to take not-at-homes for this campaign."
I asked him what he thought of the campaigns and the fact that we have a convention campaign coming up soon. He thinks its great, easy work and these campaigns really work.
Poor guy - thinks he's working for Jah and all he's doing is working for a religious publishing and real estate company.
I mean c'mon - who in the world is going to sacrifice a Friday to hear 8 hours of cult indoctrination? Very few IMHO.
Also noticed that the US now has over 100,000 reg. pioneers but if you baptized over 25,000 over the last 5 years, you're bound to attract some high octane-dubs to the pioneer ranks.
Their numbers used to be 945,000 back around 1997 there now 1,040,000 - mainly immigrants perhaps?
