I think you did a really nice thing. You are a good friend, and she now knows you completely have her back. Good one.
Uhhhhh, may have done something stupid...not sure...

Well done mama! Support unconditionally for friends is not something dubs understand.

Being a loving caring and hard working person means nothing to the dubs if you don't preach their gospel, that's how conditioned they are, not that the WTS will ever be satisfied and say well done to its followers whatever they do. But that entrapment was quite vicious.

I usually try to be tolerant of other people's problems, God knows I have enough of my one, but JW's need to be called on their shit. I think you did a good job of sticking up for your friend and telling her JW relatives that they're self-righteous assholes.
Sorry about my language, but I can't believe that any religion encourages its followers to treat family like this.

You did the right thing. J-dubs need to be called out on their bad behavior.

Thanks everyone!! I am glad I did it now, it felt like the right thing to do.

I agree with the thought that JW's need to be called to task for their rotten social behavior- I wish people had given me the boot when I acted rude about people's birthday parties, retirements, collections for sick and needy, etc. JW legalistic excuses for badness just don't cut it! Bravo, for outing their unchristian conduct

Good for you mama. I wish I could have handled my own situation last week as good as you did.

This is all so sad. Absolutely heart-breaking. You're a true friend. You stood up for the dignity of a human being and for principle. That will most certainly come back to you.
Love and respect,
