So they make JWs sit there and listen to things that may be fake? Don't they make JWs sit at assemblies long enough? Anyway, congratulations about your daughter. Is she scared or excited about it?

I have to say that one reason I do alot of instruction today for my job, is the training I had in the "lie." You are right that it is all not bad, but I would let your daughter know that in the real world that would not be allowed. A teacher could lose their job by making fun of someone's religion. JW's are led to believe that everyone hates them, and that is an identifying mark of the true religion. Give her a balanced view, not the narrow minded view of JW's. That is the only way she will be able to begin to question what she is told.

I havent been to an assembly since I was 17! But those parts were my favorite parts. Oh wait, the only part I liked lol! And the big dramas of course........hey, I was just a kid myself!
