Some guy came in today and his Audi is using oil as most do. He was upset I charged him for 2 quarts.
He swung at me and I stepped away and told him to have a good day.
As he left the shop he ran against a red light and got hit broadside I laughed like crazy
He came back needing some help and I told him call a wrecker. I am such a bad guy cuz no help from here
What should I have done help him or do what I did and let him stumble along afterall he is cute lol

What should you have done? How about caved his face in with a tire iron for trying to assault you? I absolutely cannot understand how people can go through life thinking it is OK for them to take swings at people. I'm not ranting at you here, but the other guy. One of my mental mottos is, "If you pick a fight with me (physically), I won't be fighting you to fight you. I will be fighting to kill you. Becaue you don't have the right to hurt me physically and I'm going to do everything in my power to make sure you don't hurt me anymore than possible." Think about it; we're not in 3rd grade anymore. This isn't two kids fighting over lunch money in the school yard. People need to know that such behaviour is unacceptable and will be dealt with in the harshest of manners. First, what makes him think he doesn't have to pay for two quarts and secondly what makes him think he has the right to take a swing at you, Third what the hell makes him think he can run a red light. It sounds to me that we're dealing with a guy who doesn't realize that actions have consequences. If you help a guy like that it will only reinforce his self image of grandiosity and he won't learn anything. Do you think he learned anything after his accident. I doubt it! I think you did the right thing. It was his own bad energy turning on him.
If someone had taken a swing at me not five minutes before wrecking their car by way of a moving violation, it would be a cold day in hell before I helped him out.
I might have called the cops, but only to report his reckless and threatening behaviour before he went and killed someone.
His attempted assault, coupled with his reckless driving could be considered a felony. He belongs in prison. The only additional thing you could have done is call the police after
the accident.
"Officer, after I serviced the gentleman's car, he attempted to assault me when I expected to be paid for my services. He then left and ran through that intersection when the light was red. Yes, officer, he took a swing at me before he negligently drove into the intersection. Of course officer, when his car was totalled, I thought I should call you right away, as the other driver seems really shook up"
You were nicer than the booger deserved. I hope they cited him for negligent driving and road rage. At least.
