Iraq is about to blow sky-high! The Brits have just left Basra, and there is open civil war. No, not Shia killing Sunni, rather Shia killing Shia. If you thought it was ugly already, prepare to be startled.

It did not take a genius to predict that this was going to happen, some of us predicted exactly this even before the invasion of Iraq took place. ( See threads around that time ). It did however take an Administration full of dullards NOT to realize that the 'liberation' of Iraq would end in a civil war which would dwarf any blood-letting that Saddam Hussein could even imagine. The worst is yet to come.
Radical-idealists like Bush and members of his Administration should serve as an example for all time that personal ideals need to be served in a menu that is balanced with reason.

Amen, supreme one. Bush really fancies himslf to be Cyrus the Great. The man's just not well.

They are such a fanatical lot there in the Middle East people with hot tempers they can easily get into confrontations over relatively minor issues. But it looks as though Iraq is falling apart, Sunnis, Shiites, Kurds.
