No. Unfortunately I was a good dub who only read their literature. I was so submissive...........my husband thought he'd died and gone to heaven.

An excellent read
I remember reading that book when I was about 20 - It was excellent.
and yes I have questions about the traditional biblical view on woman's role. I reckon that it's because the bible was written by men, to keep the masses in line.........in particular women.

Diane Wilson's book, Awakening of a Jehovah's Witness, is a very good book to get and read that covers your questions. Diane exposes how the Watchtower not only treated her, but all women in the society.
