Who currently is the President or in charge of the WTS and is there a board and who are the members?

The WTS has several legal corporations headed by non-anointed JWs.

The Governing Body has been separate legally from these corporations since 2000. This board supposedly makes only spiritual/scriptural decisions. Members of the GB select new members from baptized male JWs that profess to be anointed--hoping to go to heaven and rule with Christ for a 1,000 years.

All the other corporations are under the Pennsylvania corporation. Adams is clearly the top Watch Tower official.

The president of the Watchtower Society is no longer considered the "head" of the organization. The position is now relegated to the legal requirements for a corporation. And he oversees the business end of it. The power and authority of "spiritual" matters remain with the Governing Body. And this is the area that most effects JWs worldwide. (When they "sneeze" the rest of the members get the "cold.")

Ray Franz said that the (year) 2000 changes in the authority structure were made to protect the org from future suings on the blood issue deaths. The GB is still the moral authority of the WTS.

According to the Watchtower society, JESUS is in charge of everything but i beleive he misses a lot of meeting.
