Do you have a flat panel computer monitor? I would like to hear from you about your flat panel computer monitor. I would like to buy one ASAP. I do not want a very expensive computer monitor. I want to buy it brand new. What kind of flat panel computer monitor do you recommend? I also want to know what not to buy. Thanks for your input!

I got one a year ago with my new HP computer. I love it. I never had any desk space with the big old monitor laying on it, but now I have enough room to put whatever I want -- usually plates and bowls of food.. :) I can't really recommend any, I just like the one I got from HP....

I have an LG 15" one and I will never go back now. It saves so much space , you can push it right back to the end of the desk and clear room for other stuff. I really love my flat monitor.
This is the one I have, its cheap and I swear by it:

I use an AG nuevo 17" E17A. It's not the newest around but.....there is a very clear picture, from various angles and.....watching DVD is perfect.

I have a B en Q flat panel monitor. Great picture and colour quality, built in speakers that sound pretty good for their relatively small size if you dont already have speakers. I paid about $100 one year ago for the 17'' size monitor.

I have one of these from Samsung. That way I can watch TV while the computer is rebooting.

I have a Dell 21" widescreen digital LCD. I love it, way better than any CRT monitor I've ever used. I've also had a Dell 17" and 19" LCD, they're reasonably priced, sometimes they come as a free upgrade when you by a Dell computer online.

I use a HP Pavilion f1703 - Flat panel display - TFT - 17" - 1280 x 1024 / 60 Hz - 250 cd/m2 - 350:1 - 0.26 mm - VGA (HD-15)
I love it- very good resolution, never had any issues with it, the base is only approximately 6" x 12".
As far as getting a new one, I'd check PCWorld and their ratings here:
BA- hope that helps.
