Do you still feel guilty, not going to the memorial?

  I gave up on the JWs long ago and even when I was one I didn't really think much of it since I knew they didn't treat some of the "anointed" there in a respectful manner. Then of course later I realised that the early Christians held the Eucharist every week and not once a year.

  Nope no guitl from me. I am however doing the whole passove meal this year. Should be fun.

  JW's always made easter sound like it was all about the easter eggs, but the church I have been going to does passover meal and a whole week of special activities. I get to drink the wine and eat the crackers. Means so much more to me than passing it around!!!

  I've gone to exactly one memorial in the last fifteen years. I took the girl I was dating at the time. It was a mistake. We both felt very... odd. We both wanted out of there just as quickly as we could make a break. Once it was over, we were out the door faster than anything. I think we had to go have some drinks.

  But that's not the reason I'd not go now. Their memorial is a corruption. Even so, I would be impelled to partake and we all know what a row that would cause.
