It probably has a lot to do with the fact that you're not interested in them 'that way', therefore you're more comfortable just being yourself around women and in turn they find your confidence an attractive quality.

Thats always a good thing to be found attractive. Once you get to our age there are more women than men. The first couple of rounds of males have been killed off or died off. Theres a big crop of widows and divorce's.
