    Thanks guys, alot...Got the news early this morning. I was hoping to be home before this happened.

    Now.....here comes the drama. I doubt I go to the funeral, that would cause alot of drama to happen. They weren't JW's....alot of it had to do with something that happened a couple years ago between me and my dad, when I was using. Alot of the family hasn't forgiven me.

    What is important, at least to me, is that I know my grandma loved me. We kinda had this "connection". I knew a couple weeks ago that something bad was wrong, and sent my daughter over there. Sure enough, I was right. Kelli said that grandma knew that I knew.

    This woman wasn't the cuddly, smooching grandma. She was always in everyone's business. The kind of grandma you'd want on your side. She helped me find the courage to leave my parents(mom & stepdad), and the jw crap many years ago. Without her, I don't know if I'd be here, on this board, and out of the borg now.

    Right now I feel numb, and mad at myself that I put myself in the situation that, that side of the family is mad at me. But, I know grandma will always be here, in my heart.

    Outlaw........You are right about that!......She deserves to be celebrated, and I may just have to do that.......She'd kick me in the arse if I didn't....And believe me, she could still reach this far!!!!

    I'm sorry to hear of your grandma's passing Shelley. She sounds like she was a very strong woman that didn't allow others to run her life. She certainly has been a mentor to you.

    I wish you peace. I'm sure memories of her will sustain you now and always.
