  I would too. But I would find it strange wearing "grandma" around. Even worse if my place got ransacked and "somebody stole grandma". lol

  I'm thinking some of the details are missing. A 200lb man makes about 40lbs of ash. I wouldnt think it would take 40lbs of ash to make a diamond maybe a pound or two. If your going to press a pound under intense pressure down to an ounce thats 1/16. I would think a pound would be enough. It sounds like the family is having a pissing contest, in the media.

  Oh yeah would that be a diamond or cubic zarconia?

  I think its a nice idea, I read about this a while ago where a geologist had died and his wife had his ashes made into a couple of diamonds for her and her daughter to remember him by.
  
  It would be awful if it ever got stolen or lost though.
