Giver her a check for $20 on Saturday. She wont be able to cash it until after that joker is gone. That way you gave her the twenty and what she did with it after that...you will not have touched!

Thank you for the suggestions. I think I will drop by the house on Sunday when I know they are at the meeting and drop the money off in an envelope. By the time they get back home it will be too late to give him the money and she can use the money for something else. Of course she will probably put the money in the contribution box the next week, but I don't want to think about that. LOL!

That is what I thought too!! But I didn't think about making it for 50!!!! That is priceless.

What I thought was to gather up some can goods, hotel shampoo samples, 1/2 empty bottles of lotion that is mostly dried up, anything you can find, that a poor person, who makes such a low salary, would find needful.

Our Bethel brothers, can always use any help we can give them. Just because money is tight right now, because you just filed your taxes, and had to pay a little, doesn't mean that you can't share. Everybody can always use an old can of spinach.

horrible life - I love your post! I also like the idea of writing the check to the bethelite and then canceling it. Horrible horrible users and manipulators like that need to go get a real job and support themselves like the rest of us do. Help your mom, but don't help the "brothers" bloodsucking useless #*#*#*#*#*#*#* that they are! Whew, have to calm down. Why would an ethical person who is able bodied and able to work take money from an old lady on a fixed income?

How would Jesus have felt about the "old woman" who put two small coins of very little value into the contribution box at the temple if actually she got the money from her son...only to make it look like they were her two coins. Kind of misleading...wouldn't it be?
