Ok just a little funny I wanted to add to this story.
About 5 days after I got this keep your fork email from the sister who studied with me as a teenager. I went to McDonalds for lunch.
They have a new salad that they are advertising. So the solgan that they have written on their cups is " Hold on to your fork"
Arrrrggghhhhhh I can't get away from these forks.

While this has become part of the jw lore, I am sure it did not start with a witness. Many of these stupid stories start from some other christian source. The story works just a well with most religious beliefs. A witness is not creative enought to think of such a story.
