What "Common Denominator" do most JW's have?

  Do you think that there is a common denominator, or are they all different people who found what they call "the truth"?

  Well they are all stereotyped by threads like this by apostates - that's the one thing I am sure they do have in common.

  They all seem to have a morbid fear of demons that they will come out of the invisible and harm them, that's something other groups don't seem to have, it is something peculiar to the JWs. They also have that naive idea about their leaders being the God appointed spiritual overseers of mankind.

  Maybe saying they are "all different" is just as stereotypical as saying they all share some essential flaw...

  The one thing most of them, particularly the elders, have in common is a great ability to lie their socks off

  1.They don't wear beards. (Not even the sisters.)

  2.They are in permanent refutation mode with knee-jerk responses to any perceived criticism instead of being humble like Jesus.

  3.None of them have actual knowledge of things they are against and must rely on the strawman version printed in the Society's publications.

  4.They lack all charity. They are not even allowed to volunteer to help anybody other than JW's as candy-stripers, meals on wheels, hospice, Big Brothers, etc.

  5.They do not build institutions of learning nor create socially helpful networks such as shelters for battered women or abused children.

  6.They only have more than a High School education if they come in to the Kingdom Hall with one already.

  7.They are your best friend and loving brother or sister one second and cut you dead the next should find disfavor with the powers that be at the Kingdom Hall.

  8.If you got in a time machine and asked any JW throughout history what they believed it would always be wrong and always contradict what was "true" previously.

  9.Megalomania (Only JW's have Truth and all others have the Devil).

  10.They are scared out of their wits of demons infesting ordinary household objects! In this they are much like the most primitive tribes in the most isolated regions of the world in superstitious belief.
