You expect integrity from the media!!!!!!!!?????????
Uhh, no. It was either "NBC News shows no integrity" or "NBC news sucks!"
Probably should have gone with the latter.

If anything that is news worthy comes to their attention then they should present it.
Not necesarily. For example, news agencies are expected to refrain from reporting something if it hampers a criminal investigation or endangers national security.
Like I said, this did not add anything relevant to the story. It's just amounts to sensationalism.
I think undercover makes a good point here. Actually two.
The news services [and I use the word lightly], have a commission to bring us news. And sensational news is what sells. Unfortunately.
The cottage industry that began as CNN, with 24/7 news, is partly to blame. They attempt to even create news, from matters that are not news IMO, at least in the classical sense of the word. Example was the paternity issues surrounding Anna Nicole Smith. It may have been a 20 second blurb on the news years back. We have seen weeks of 'Breaking News' banners and recitation of rhetoric about this matter. I doubt, and I mean this honestly, that the assasination of JFK in '63 got as much air time as did the 'WHo knocked up the super model' coverage.
There is a battle for survival among these news outlets now. It is sickening. But it is part and parcel with an industry that has survived and thrived because people watch it.

no intergrity and apparently no responsibility.
Take a look at what one NBC reporter wrote on this subject and then read the comments below. I'm not sure what he was thinking in writing a piece like this. It is, for lack of a better word, irresponsible!

I agree entirely with the fact that the showing of this disturbed man's manifesto was completely unnecessary! They are allowing this man's actions to have the victory even in his death, which was his plan exactly!
The whole thing is just so sad!
The next phsyco is watching, he doesn't know he is, yet his plan is to beat 32 dead.
Sorry folk's, that's life and we thank the media for bringing it to us!
My condolences to those who have lost someone recently and in the future.
It's just typical shock whoring by our out of control, insensitive and manipulating news media. The more they idolize this guy the more they are encouraging it to happen again. It is pathetic that he is able to manipulate them from his grave like this.
BrentR beat me to it. BA

I feel that the US Government is largely to blame.
The Government should require that all TVs have a button to change the channel when the viewer wishes to see something else.
Rub a Dub
The big three networks in general are desparate to sell Chevrolets, Viagra and soap powder. If that means giving this murdering maggot what amounts to millions of dollars in free air time to give his evil infomercial pitch to others of his ilk, then they say so be it. "We've got shareholders to satisfy". It all comes back to us. If we set there and watch the commercials that surround these videos of the perpetrator of a killing orgy, we'll get more of the same. What's next? A reality show that follows a suicidal maniac on a massacre? Don't laugh. This Cho stuff is not too far from the notorious "snuff flicks".
If we set there and watch the commercials that surround these videos of the perpetrator of a killing orgy, we'll get more of the same.Yeah when it came on I paused it on my dvr, went & took care of something else, then came back and skimmed through the coverage, being sure to skip over all ads.
I'll be sure to miss the station entirely next time.
Is there a station that in the same position, would have done different? I haven't watched the news from the moment I found out what they had. Any news. It's all about money, and banking on the idea that our fear and horror will compel us to watch.
