    John 6:52

    52

Therefore the Jews began contending with one another, saying: "How can this man give us his flesh to eat?" 53 Accordingly Jesus said to them: "Most truly I say to YOU, Unless YOU eat the flesh of the Son of man and drink his blood, YOU have no life in yourselves. 54 He that feeds on my flesh and drinks my blood has everlasting life, and I shall resurrect him at the last day; 55 for my flesh is true food, and my blood is true drink.56 He that feeds on my flesh and drinks my blood remains in union with me, and I in union with him.

    nough said?

Here's a great read relating to Narkissos' post & rabbanic methodology.

    Great! Thanks.

    w00t!

Eheheh shows the damage of misinterpreting and mistranslating the Bible!

Sheesh, these people are sacrificing children to the WTS, I wouldn't be suprised if there was a statue of a golden bull somewhere there.

Great post, very thought provoking. I just wish I could give that argument! I'm rubbish debating, but like learning bits and pieces I can possibly use if I ever get better! Thanks Terry

I've toyed with the idea of creating a little "storybook" album with photocopies of actual Watchtower pages with little boxes next to them that give refutations so simple that the JW flipping through them would go into a coma.

It could be aimed at even the most dense JW. All JWD members could secretly mail them (anonymously) to targets whose address they know.

That might send some minds into rational mode for a change and get a groundswell of second-think going.

    I'm a dreamer; aren't we all?

Jesus disproved the blood doctrine through many examples. One of these is in Mark 2:23-38. It speaks there of the disciples plucking grain and eating it on the sabbath. How did Jesus reply?

"The sabbath came into existence for the sake of man, and not man for the sake of the sabbath."

It could be phrased that blood came into existence for the sake of man and not man for the sake of blood. They totally miss the meaning of this and many other scriptures about the spirit of the law being important and not the letter of the law. God gave us brains to reason with and we need to use them.

Terry, you did it again! Keep em' coming, there is never enough of these things you post. Lurkers are being forced to think about these topics that you post. You don't know how many lurker you have helped with your many topics. This topic is so logical even a five year old can understand it. Yes! you are smarter than a five year old. That's a new show on tv. Are you smarter than a five year old.

Sometimes it is like having a pregnant head! I rush to JWD and give birth. Messy, but, satifying.

What an excellent description! Keep it up, I look forward to your posts.
