Oh my goodness - I am so glad you are still with us. Wow you Americans have to pay so much for prescriptions. Our prescriptions are government funded so its £6.00 about $12 and usually your doctor will bulk put everything on one prescription for a month for whatever you need.
Everything may cost a lot and taxes here are heavy but I'd to have to find cash if I was ill and really needed it.

Damn! Glad you're allright. I quit smoking in March 2006 with the help of the book "Allen Carr's easyway to stop smoking". I suggest you check it out. Might make things a bit easier for you.
