Although you will get pumped by Newcastle so probobly not so great!!

I think Sunderland may do quite well - they have 60 million to spend ( I think) so they may well get the quality players to make mid table or at least survive. I do hope that they beat Newcastle next year - Newcastle have had a very shaky season.

The tv payments are being matched by the board and there are some large Irish sponsors interested - Keane is more than a susrprisingly awesome manager, he is in and of himself a financial goldmine (like David Beckham.) Its been a grotty and nasty few years as a Sunderland supporter but at least for now things are looking up.

On another note I find it oddly inspiring to find that Keane has so much integrity. I wouldn't want any other manager at all. He reminds me of Maximus Decimus Meridius - 'Strength and honor'.

OK I'm blathering now, I just keep pinching myself.
