Maybe if you post his phone number here he'd be more willing to talk to others

How come he phoned you, Mouthy? It does seem a bit coincidental on his part that he was phoning randomly and that he knew who you are. I'd be a little bit suspicious about his intentions. Maybe he was "innocently" phoning, pretending to witness, and then when you wonderfully responded, he realised you weren't ready to come back!
Grace, you seem to be a well known figure in your JW community. Or the JW community near you. Cool:)

Yes I knew that But was hoping you were not on the ball
Well I believe it was the guy at Rogers. When I couldnt get on my JWD link I thought it was my computor So I got on the self help site ( rogers) Dennis( the worker on there) came on & asked the trouble .I told him I couldnt get e-mails or the JWD site he questioned what that was ?.I said I had a ministry to help JW when they were D/F .... That is when I got the call. So being suspicious I figuered it was the Rogers worker. that tipped him off....Because they usually come back to tell you the trouble but zilch!!!! never heard any more
Didnt realize JWD was down
" Dont you want to talk to me. ?" He said I am calling the police.!!!!!!!...( see me shaking?LOL)
Good one, mom.
What a coward.

Grace,
If you feel that it was the person from Rogers (a well-known internet provider) who called you, you can always complain to Rogers and say that you think that one of their tech support people got your phone number from a service call you made, and they called you to proselytize you. You can tell them that you identified yourself as someone who already knew about the JW religion, and they rudely hung up on you, and then when you returned their call - thinking that they were interested in a conversation, they threatened to call the police on you, when it was them harassing you with their religious propaganda in the first place!
Next time, call me instead. You know I'm always happy to hear from you and to try to help you through any technical problems with the site.

I certainly agree. Sounds like the introduction to another one of their lame, insipid "encouragement chats" to me. Wonder exactly what he would've told the police? He called you first!

Oh thank you so much Scully I will keep that in mind. You have helped me so much before I hated to impose
