There's no higher compliment than that, is there? I'd love to be able to paint, but typically left-handed, my art looks like the ramblings of a drunken spider as it wanders drunkenly over the paper! So, yes, help yourself - just post an image of the completed work, will you?
Leo. Praise indeed from a gifted landscaper such as your self. I love the clarity of your style.
UnCon. No, I'm not a pro - although my wife and I did many a wedding shoot whilst we were together. I did the techy stuff, and she was an absolute genius with people, who just warmed to her immediately and did exactly as they were bidden.
I'll post a few non-landscapes in a little while, if you like.

Fun with Flora!
I'm the first to admit that I know bugger-all about horticulture, but I do like a pretty flower or two!
The first one one here is a poppy, I think. It was growing wild in a field, and I left it to it's own devices after I grabbed this quick study of its intimate bits.
How about shooting a bloom in monochrome? A white bloom against a white background, then bang up the contrast.
Just for a bit of a twist, here's a comparison shot. On the one hand a colour snap of a white lily against a black backdrop.......
......and then the same bloom against white, shot in mono. Any preferences?

I think I like the all white one best, for it's simplicity. Bit over all the top one is my fav. They do say left-handed people are gifted, so maybe this is one your gifts.

'also of the left-handed class'

Thanks all!
I'm going to plod on for a little while if you don't mind too much.
There's a new exhibition hall at the nearby aviation museum here in the Midlands, and whilst the exhibits themselves are fascinating, I've been really struck by the potential of the enclosing hangar itself. So armed with a wide lens and a polariser, I took advantage of a bright blue sky, and picked out a few unusual angles.
