Why? Christ is cool. He wants to fry me in Hell, isn't that what you teach? Comparing Jesus to Ghandi is a crime. Ghandi wasn't that bad, was he?

Don’t recall saying that. All I’m saying is that my kids and I go to church once a week, sit there for a one hour sermon (this week was about the rich man and Lazurus and how we should treat all people with kindness) then we left. What’s wrong with that? Kent, I enjoy your web site a lot and appreciate your hard work in exposing the WT but your anti-religion preaching is almost as bad as the WT’s.
I recall reading an article in the Chicago Tribune a while back noting that kids brought up with religious beliefs and who attended church regularly were less likely to get in trouble with the law. My personal observation agree with this. In general, kids brought up with BALANCED religious views are better off then those who aren’t.
Ghandi's own words "I am a Muslim, and a Hindu, and a Christian" No, I don't teach Jesus wants to fry you in Hell. Had he wanted to do that he wouldn't have died for you. Why can't you let go of blaming religion. BLAME PEOPLE WHO USE religion, or any other ideology to commit evil.

How long are you going to ignore the facts about Christians, who are and who aren't? Hitler was a Catholic and professed Christianity at one point in his life. He obviously did not live a Christian life, therefore he was NOT a Christian.

Hate? What's that got to do with anything? I simply despise religion, and I have absolute no respect for religion at all. Neither for defence of old superstition, and crap like some guy died for me. Everyone that vere lived has died, but they didn't die for either me or you.

As to other things mentioned, as one person commented to me in a mail today:
Hitler, Mao, Stalin were God's unto themselves.
Anything violent done in the name of God, no matter which God, is wrong. Including the Muslim God or Bush or a flag.

This brings up an interesting question. Is it wrong to defend against naked aggression? Was the US wrong to defend itself against Japanese aggression and violence? Was it wrong to unite to free europe from German oppression? Is it wrong to defend the US against terrorism?
