As part of your "DEDICATION AND BAPTISM" did you actually go to Jehovah in prayer and "dedicate" your life to him prior to your baptism? At the time when the elders were reviewing the "questions" with me, I hadn't a clue that I was supposed to do this until one of them asked directly. I answered in the affirmative anyway ... wanting the incessant questioning to be over as quickly as possible. So I guess I'm not "dedicated".
Did you ACTUALLY do this?

For me baptism was just a charade to get everyone around me to finally shut up.

yup. I was a silly 13-year-old who still believed in her sky daddy. He was the only one who'd listen to my incessant prayer chatter anyway.

No I didn't. Does this mean that my baptism is void?

yes I did, I actually prayed a dedication of myself to Jehovah, feeling awkward about it the whole time. Never could pray very well, it seemed soooooooo wrong and I just didn't relate to Jehovah, but I went and got baptized anyway. Didn't have much effect on me or my life - I was just doing it for approval anyway, but the JWs specialize in never approving.

When I was baptized as a JW, it was probably my third time being baptized. I remember feeling like it wasn't a "real baptism". They didn't say "I baptize you in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost" and there was no clapping. I didn't "feel" baptized! I can't explain it???
I don't think that I was fully immersed. I think my stomach was still above the water!
