About 7000 inhabitants, of which,,,, ### are JWs.

WHAT DO YOU ANTICIPATE FOR THE YEAR 2057?

Well - I will be 102 years old. Wifey will be 100. My youngest grandchild will be 53, a year older than I am now.

Global warming will have entered the 50th year of panic by then. Cher will not be wearing the same dress, for if she is still alive, plastic restruction will have no benefit for those saggers by then. Likely 10 more presidents of the US will have come and gone. Hummingbirds will still visit flowers, and little kids will still hug Mommy and Daddy, a few people will be killed by sharks that year, and the SUV's we drive today will be considered old antiques that cost only $40,000 in those days.

Andy Rooney will be gone - but others will have filled the spot. Tiger Woods will be the new Byron Nelson of golf. Neither Bill CLinton nor George Bush will make regular conversation grounds by then, having been relegated to the same heap as Garfield and Hoover. People will be talking about the 'last of the Persian War veterans' these days.

A few more 'Doomsday cults' would have come and gone, some in more spectacular fashion than others. Sailors will still be getting Tatoos in foreign ports, and pretending that they did not find women in those same ports when they return to their home women. 75 year marriages will still be celebrated in the news. Fireworks will still be seen on the 4th in the county park. Kids will return home from school with tales of being pinched for not wearing green on St Patty's day.

Drinking and driving will take more lives that year. Someone will be preparing a body to bury, and someone will be preparing for the day they will marry. Several more wars will have been fought, and someone will be warning the world that the next one will be WW? if we are not careful. Parents will still be telling the children about that long walk to school when they were a kid ' six miles and thru the snow'.

To the extent that history was ignored - to that same extent it will be in the process of repetition.

And likely my tombstone will read " Here lies an evil apostate - We'd have stoned him if we could "

Long before 2057 a nuclear bomb will have been detonated setting off nuclear winter. I'm being realistic, sorry if this spoils everyones anticipation for the year 2057. I believe that there are those who will do anything to end our way of life of freedom. It's not a stretch, it is happening now right under our noses, with the small explosives being used to maim and kill. It's only a matter of time when the big one will be used. Suicidal committment will be the cause of this.

As for me, I will be long dead before 2057 or I'll be 112 years old and the suicidal committment will not have achieved it goal of nuclear war at this time.
