Sure its $8.00 a gallon there, but you can't drive more than an hour in any direction before you go over the edge into the sea! (Kidding) Maybe three hours max. Public transportation in the form of trains, subways and such are available for you, they don't exist here on the west coast any more. They did in the 1930's but were removed by oil interests.

I agree with Derek. If you want to go through with not pumping gas on the 15th, then park your vehicle that day as well. Consumption is consumption, after all, no matter when you buy it. I seriously need to rearrange my lifestyle to eliminate having to use my truck, a 4 cylinder Toyota pickup, on a daily basis to get to work.
