Is there anyone here that can offer proof of these settlements? Can Barbara scan the court records? I am on another board, and I need some answers. There is a witness on the board who is saying it's all a bunch of lies. PLEASE can someone give me something concrete?

Have you notice, that when someone gets reproved or disfellowedshipped, it gets announced to the rank and file. However, when the GB does something that requires them to be reproved, they don't announce it to the rank and file. They announce all the things that make them look good, not what could stain them. They won't tell Bethel or the world wide brotherhood what they had to do with the child abuse cases, namely, settle in the millions with millions more dollars to yet be settled.
If and when that time comes to shut down Brooklyn and move to Patterson, it will be unexpected for those who won't be making the move with them. They will be out in the cold, sent packing to where - ever! The GB. will still have a place in the sun, upstate.

Im still waiting for a dollar figure here! lol What is the WTS going to do... if say.........half of the abused come forth, and they have to pay them off too? Sell all the kingdom halls and tell everyone what? See ya in the new system?

It is very unlikely that the exact figure or even a close guess will ever be known. Anyone suggesting a particular dollar figure, even range is pure speculation.
