Anyone here ever use a colon cleanser?

I've read an article or two where it speaks about the need to use a colon cleanser between 2-4 times a year. So what I'm trying to do is find which is the best one to use. Any suggestions?

Well, what I had to use before several colonscopies and surgery, you wouldn't want to use. Believe me, those docs know how to get the colon squeaky clean!

Is this a joke? Are you serious?

You want to perforate your colon? Only people with dangerously impacted colons should have a QUALIFIED health professional do this, IMO.

Maybe I should be a little more specific. What I had in mind was some type of herbal tablet or pill that can be taken orally.

I have no desire of even considering putting any equipment near my.. well you get the idea.

As to the reason why I've read some information more than once where it mentions that the average person carries a certain amount of waste matter in their colon tract. Over time supposedly this can lead to cancer and other health problems.

So to make a long story short in the pursuit of trying to keep my system clean and functioning well I thought it might be a good idea to try and get my colon cleansed.
