Seems like there was almost a mass "exodus" from JWD, lead by yours truly.
I apologise here and now, but at least some of you were able to pad your post count, thanks to my "irrational emotionalism". It's what you probably used to do in Field Service, anyway.
There were also some "sideliners" who where so shocked, so emotionally moved, that even they, had to provide their input. I am eternally grateful to them, and all the others who brought me to my senses.
Unfortunately, we have temporarily lost one of our beloved members, Sister Purps, but she said she will be back when she clears up her head.............promises, promises.
"Needsproof" had, in my humble opinion, the problem of the week: Mad Russian neighbors stealing his pretty trash can for their ugly trash can. What does this situation prove? That Armageddon is surely "just around the corner".
"Sasha" started an interesting thread concerning a guy named "George Silos". I'm not sure who he is, but I think he's in the grain storage business.
"Slimboyfat" started a thread concerning types of posters and posting patterns, but I tend to stay away from subjects that might reveal my own psychosis. I'm sure it was a good thread.
"Juni" started a thread about "Prince's concerts in London". I didn't read that one either, but I never knew that William and Harry could sing.
Most offensive post of the week: It was directed at me, thanks to Rebel8: "If you hang around, I will allow you to buy me expensive gifts". WTF? Is that ALL I get? Sheesh!
Funniest post of the week, under the thread "You know you are a JW, if......": VanillaMocha73 said "You see a row of doors at Home Depot and you whip out your older issues".
Of course, who could leave out the Apostafest? In looking at many of the pictures, I'm glad to say I didn't have a chance to make it. Why? Because the gathering LOOKED JUST LIKE the last gathering I attended as an active Witness. Are you SURE you guys are Apostates?
Finally, in all seriousness, Linda (fullofdoubtnow) continues with her chemo and hopefully she will start posting when she regains some strength. Trev (dedpoet) is certainly under a lot of stress, and they both need our thoughts and prayers.
