Everything that I would have liked to have had on my senior prom night is happening for my daughter tonight:
she has a date with a real boyfriend;
she has a bunch of friends to hang out with;
she is safe;
she is happy;
she has a nice new dress, shoes and bag;
and is hopefully dancing the night away.
I hope it is a wonderful time, unmarred by prom night nonsense.
I feel glad she can do this, unhampered by religious obsession and emotional damage done by a religious cult.
I hope your children enjoy the same freedoms and pleasures, too!I only hope it costs you less money than it's costing us.Oh well, at least it was cheaper this year than it was last year; glad I didn't have to buy the tux.
