should we all send this to our local papers? We shouldn't let them sweep this under the rug like they want to.

I think that modifying Jeff's letter for the local paper would be good. But I would not think it should be copied and pasted, because local papers want to hear from LOCAL readers, not someone in another state.
And it is a very well-written letter IMO.

UPDATE: The editor of the paper has emailed and said that they will be running the letter with little changes. They will include an editors note at the bottom with the JW response to the molestation cases [from the AP story]. That should not detract much IMO.

Still waiting. I have checked the local every day this week. Looks like it might not be in till next week, unless it makes the Sunday Edition - that would be even better.
