as a dental patient!! LOL
I went to a new dentist today - my last dentist retired and that was a couple of years ago soooo, I figured I'd put it off long enough.
He was a really great dentist - gave me a really thourough exam and told me that from a dental patient standpoint I was boring - I had perfect teeth, perfect bite etc yadda yadda yadda!!
I guess if I'm going to be called boring - this is one area I don't mind it!!

I was born with an extra set of baby teeth. They had to cut them all out. 7 extra teeth.
Then I had my wisdom teeth removed. (4)
Braces for 3 1/2 years.
and 2 more teeth pulled out while I had braces to make room. (making 13 teeth pulled and a whole set of teeth left)
I went to the dentist earlier this month for a cleaning. He said I had excellent teeth and wish more people had my teeth... I just laughed .. It took a lot of work to get to this point.
I was thinking how can one not be boring when one can't speak as the dentist works on the old teeth. It's boring in the sense they can't work on you and make money.
In this day and age you must be one of the few people that have perfect teeth I suppose your parents were smart enough not to allow you to eat chocolates and candies as a child and that saved your teeth. Nowadays many people loose all of them by the age of 30.

I was a witness for the state and kept under gaurd, because of death threats, for two months. During that time my wisdoms were coming in and because they weren't dealt with, a lot of damage to other teeth occured. I lost 6 teeth and the wisdoms and now I have 22 teeth. Those are in good health. I wish I was boring.

Wow Renee - I've never heard of anybody having extra teeth like that!! You're right - that was alot you had to go through - but by the looks of things it was worth it - you have a beautiful smile!
Greendawn, the difference with this dentist is when he asked me a question he stopped working so I could answer him. As far as not making money off of me - if he was like that he certainly could. I tried my husbands dentist a year ago, they did the exam took exrays etc and she told me I had 4 cavities that needed filling! I had a fit - 4 cavities????? I didn't like that dentist (not just because of the cavities), and never went back. I asked this new dentist three times - so your sure there are no cavities?? And he assured me there were none.
DJK - you poor thing!! I remember when my wisdom teeth were coming in - I could totally s ympathize with those poor babies when they were teething!! It hurts!

BB. He must of been boring too. Did you ask him how his teeth were? I would that a Dentist would set the example and take good care of his teeth.
