I live in a country where men and women are treated equally, which is obviously good but the down side is that on a crowded train or bus, it doesnt matter if you are an nine month pregnant woman or an old woman hardly able to stand, no man will give up his seat to a woman.
So I usually stand up and offer mine to an elderly woman (or man)..................the look on some of the males passengers faces, but still they wouldnt do ity themselves. It makes me really mad
This also goes for holding open doors.............no one does it................. its so impolite but if a bloke does it to me, I get really miffed.
I think it really does matter for a man to do these things for a woman cos when they stop, no one does it for each other, men or women.
