Not to trivialize this, but really what issues does a non-baptized, college student, who no longer believes the Jw's have the 'truth' have to deal with?
I'm sorry that I just don't get it. In 5 years from now your parents will still be associating with you [ for you were never a Jw really], the elders and the congregation will have nothing in common with you, nor will you be interested in most or anything they are up to, and you will have a degree, likely a good job and friends that will stick thru thin and thick [the non-Jw sort].
Your future looks pretty good. Why worry about the short term effect of a ten second announcement that you no longer sell Brooklyn's Books? You won't be offcially shunned, and soon you won't care anyway.
