I have heard many JWS call born againers as Jesus freaks, can you imagine, calling some one who uses the name of Jesus as a Jesus freak. I guess JWS could be called Faithful and Discreet Slave freaks.

my websters also adds - "Watchful on all sides" , like a watchman in a watchtower.
I can say it's not such a strange idea that people are blessed in connection to other people since that's the way the old testament worked out . Gentiles were blessed only if they blessed Israel , if they cursed Israel they were cursed .I've heard televangelists try and use a modern day interpretation of support for Israel today .
When I was first appointed an elder, two other elders met with me to ask me the mandatory question they get from the Society: Is there ANY reason why you cannot accept this appointment? At the time, there was no reason. I was thrilled. I thought i was doing the Lord's work.
