Some people can spot a "gay" person by using their built-in "gaydar".
Can you spot a Witness easily? What are the signs that this person MUST be a Witness??
Tell us about you "JWdar".....(prounounced JaWayDar).

I've got it. Two weekends ago my wife and I went camping and were hanging out with some really cool people across the way. We were drinking beer and hanging by the fire when my JWdar went off. Wait a minute, they have mustaches but not goatee's; four door cars but not two.......then one of the guys said shit a few times, and I relaxed.....until I realized that meant absolutely nothing......I still don't know if they're JW's.
I call it dubdar. For me it is mostly picking up on clues.
If it's a person I only saw once in normal circumstances (for example not going around with a brief case knocking on doors or holding up watchtower magazines on a street corner) I wouldn't be able to pick them out. But sometimes they have a detached air as if they are alienated from the rest of society and do not belong to it.
I can spot them by looking at their forehead or right hand....
I believe the two things thing that most indicate a JW to me are their clothing and their vocabulary.
My gaydar works great; I am usually right...with the JWdar, however that is another story. I thought this lady was where I worked and she turned out to be Mormon. Another one; turned out to be Church of Christ. Another one; Baptist.
I was in a coffee shop two months ago, and on the way out picked up a piece of trash on the floor and threw it in the wastebasket. Just then an old JW friend walked up. She didn't recognize me at first but commented that when she saw me pick the item off the floor, she thought it had to be a witness--nobody else would do that. That was her radar.
I remember seeing a lady walking through the shopping mall back when I was a dub. It was a Sunday afternoon, and she was wearing a dress. I commented to Clyde that she had to be a witness. Sure enough she was.
Another time I was talking to a lady at a swimming pool when we were on vacation. We talked about hunger in the world, and she commented that the earth was designed to produce enough food for everyone if it weren't for man's greed. She said nothing more, but in a later conversation I found out she was a witness.
I'm with Junction Guy.
I think DUB-DAR is the scholarly term for this ability.
Minimus..They`re not hard to spot..Dressed 20yrs out of date..Carrying an extra large bag..Or..A brief case..Walking at a very slow pace,in two`s..With that same goofy blank,JW smile that says:"I really don`t want to be here."..LOL!!...OUTLAW
