I have received word that we are now 'very, very close'. At the sunday meeting, according to my trusted source, the speaker actually said that 'it is no longer years, nor months - yet weeks and days'.So they need you back, now! They have a real feeling about this one ;)
Any idea about what the title of the talk was ?

He is the Bethel speaker who at a Special Assembly Day last year, put down his notes and imformed everyone...
The FDS felt that they had fulfiled Matthew 24:14, so now then end was due.

I think they may be right..... I have felt a strong disturbance in the force....
My Mom who is a 70 plus year JW fanatic, has admitted to me "The end isn't coming in her life time"......so she has it over on a few GB members! Her Mother died in the 70's thinking it was "any day now"
My Father died knowing it wasn't going to happen.
She's heard it all before and so have I. Forget about it and get on with life! How's your retirement fund coming along?

If they believe that then why are they bothering to change the format of the Watchtower from January ? Surely that is more than mere "weeks and days".
Maybe the new Watchtowers are for the "New System"

Since when has the method or choice of intervals in counting time (seconds, minutes, weeks or months) have anything definite to say about how close the end is, if it's seconds away but the vital ingredient of how many seconds or billions of seconds, it is still just a play on words.
