Did you ever search MySpace for Jehovahs witnesses? I just opend an account recently and I went searching around. I found some JW's there. Their myspace apge look and sound just as worldly as the next persons. It's weird they are proud enough to post that they are wj's but all their interests and likes are very out there for a JW.

lol. One of them even said a vaccumm cleaner is my bread and butter. One even likes celtic music and hard rock. One calls herself a flirt. Flirting was a no no when I was in.

I know a few dubs with myspaces or similar things (blogs).

The flirt thing was a no for me when i was in too as was Girlfriends (boyfriends too...).

There are a few ex jws who have small forums on there too.....i joined a few. But yeah, they must be the "weak" ones hey? lol

I just think it's funny because one was so confrontational about it. " Yeah I am a jw and proud of it, you got a problem with that" but then she has all this slang acronyms ( you the stuff us older peeps have to get a translater for) I guess she's not being no part of the world. I wonder why she bothers to even mention she's a jw?

lol i know. i got a myspace account before i left and when i took my religious option off i got all these nasty messages from jw's i know. it cracks me up how hypocritical people are. i think i scared them off with all my angry blogs twards them. haha victory is mine!

Oh and did you know there was actually a talk at the convention a few years ago actually stating that myspace is a way for Satan to get to you? thought that was pretty interesting.

In fact, there are some Witlesses on that forum. I have posted on the Religion forum there, under the Witness threads. Invariably, there is a small group that are pro-JW that argue about the most pointless thing that they can find to undercut the anti-JW viewpoints. So often I find that the whole arguments are specious--the pro JW arguments are always specious, and I have fun taking them and ripping their arguments to shreds. I have yet to see a rational rebuttal to my posts there. Hopefully whoever is posting there will see the light and decide that the "truth" really isn't.

I found the pages of some in my old hall and their pages are MUCH more worldly than my friend's pages.
