    I remember you, a little bit, just an itty bit, leaning towards the prudish side then. Maybe prudish isn't the right word. You were very conservative. And it seems like you were also such about politics, but then I may have you confused with another poster.

    Here's what I said to you on the thread you linked:

    Juni, life as JWs was so ultra serious. And life in general can be depressing if you only think of the negatives and the responsible aspects of life. Sometimes it can be nice to see everyone just letting down their hair. When a thread is fun, it will get more posts.

    I want to go to your thread next to see how things are going for you... Hey, remember too when I posted a Topic "What Kind of Animal Would You Like To Be"? We both wanted to be birds. LOL I remember the strangest things....

    I wasn't here when you first posted this,Juni, so I've seen it for the first time today. Those comments about Ballistic's ass - lol. I wouldn't have known what LMFAO and other abbreviations meant if I hadn't asked Trev when I first joined the forum. I avoided those type of threads when I started posting. I wasn't long out of the org then, and still felt guilty about even reading about sex, let alone posting about it. I've changed my views somewhat since then!

    I sometimes look back at my early posts and think "did I really say that?!" I remember "losing it" on a thread about 607 with a jw apologist, and I wasn't just typing angry comments, I WAS angry. Trev had a tough time calming me down, and convincing me it's only a web board. I think I've matured quite a bit since then, as the majority of those of us who are here fairly regularly do.

    Yes. We've come a long way........... As a JW you didn't joke around w/sex topics, etc. I was so puritanical - even in the bedroom - and I certainly didn't know what the abbreviations stood for here. I figured out "LOL", but the others I had a hard time.

    Still with that being said, I should only have asked instead of getting my undies in a bunch. But it was all part of getting "deprogrammed" and being human instead of a robot. And people here were sooooo kind and understanding of me. Now I can laugh at myself........
