Macallum(sp) is some nice stuff. I do beleive Jack is the best"cheap" whiskey. Cigar's are even more subjective than the drink. I like a cheap ol swisher sweet, the little tampa's are not bad either. The better an cigar get's the stonger it is imo. I don't like that, hard to get past the bitter for me. Now a cherry flavored tobacco in a pipe with a nice smooth whiskey is right up my alley!

gentleman jack is my favorite
I'm glad to hear someone else likes GJ. It has been awhile but I prefer it with Coke and ice. (I dont drink cola otherwise).
Anyone ever hear of Virginia Gentleman Whisky? Side story (sorry) ...I once bought a friend (who is an elder) 2 bottles of VG (which is hard to come by here and he absolutely loved this stuff)......about $50 worth..he was so happy to get it. Then not long after he decides to forgo alcohol altogether. Apparently the local congo was "Stumbled" by his alcohol consumption (even though he never got drunk or even immoderate) .....so, being an elder, he caved to the pressure.... got rid of all of his alcohol...wine, everything, including the VG I bought! Man, a gift is a gift, but couldnt he have given that stuff away to someone who appreciated it? (If you lurk here you know who you are,....I forgive you ..... did you have to throw it out?...sheesh)
Stupid fu*k*ng Borg and their petty rules and made up local congo cult rules.
Oh well, no Jack in the house, have to settle for a Red Stripe beer and off to bed...anyone care to join me in a virtual toast to good whisky and good beer and no Borg?
