  Not really. By the time I took the plunge, I was thoroughly indoctrinated. I was on a sort of high the rest of the day.

  I think you need to reach your son before he gets baptized. Afterwards, it will take quite a long time for him to see through the facade of the religion, if he ever does.

  I don't know how close he is to baptism, but maybe the new Watchtower for Witnesses only will show him just how harsh they can be when the outside world isn't looking. Most don't find this out until they sit through a judicial committee much later. This edition won't start until Jan. 2008.

  Yes, but I was told by my elder dad that if I didn't I would have to leave his house - I was only 13 maybe 15, really don't remember exact age but no older than 15.

  I had no choice unless I wanted to be homeless!
