DID ADAM HAVE TO CUT HIS HAIR?

  Yes well didn't you know that in "New System our hair probably won't grow after it reaches certain length like in the case of animals" lol.

  You may laugh but that was the advice an elder gave to a young girl who wanted to become a hairdresser. He told her that, in front of me, and his "wise" advice was not to waste time because we won't need hairdressers in New System. Training would have taken only 6 months or a year if she wanted to go to the highest level but even that seemed too long to a fella who never opened a book other than his watchtower in his life and even found that difficult. How could anyone else possibly be able to read other books and "stay spiritual" (how indeed). Luckily lady looked up to me more than to him and I was able to talk her into not leaving her course. Today she is a proud owner of a private salon and guess who is coming there for discounted haircuts? Not hard to guess, is it?

  You know zagor, love to hear experiences like these. It's quite funny for someone to want to set a course for someone else to do with their life and to keep them from bettering themselves. I bet he doesn't see it as a waste of time now.

  It's too funny that JWs are so condemning of ones getting educated. JWs need doctors and dentists dont' they? They need hairdressers don't they? They're taking advantage of all this wonderful technology that college educated people are helping to bring about aren't they?

  You're right R.F. but this was the prime example of the "depth of thinking" these "wise men" really have. They don't think much further of their own ass. They like to think of other people "in the world" as only thinking when needing to satisfy some physical urge, while in reality stupefied dubs are the ones who actually think like that. Normal people in "the world" think far ahead of present situation.
