Dogon, welcome to JWD, thanks for sharing. I was never baptized; but, my family shuns me anyway, my sister lives about 15 miles from me and me cousin less than 5, I never see them. If I was to move, I don't know if I would tell them or not. How can they shun me, when I never pledged allegiance to their cult?

My parents haven't initiated contact with me for over 14 years. I can't remember the last time one of them initiated contact. My brother hasn't initiated contact with me for over 22 years. In 1992 he told me that I represent everything in the world he hates. I guess that'd explain it.
