What a fine witness...

Yesterday and today my town is putting on a festival, "Freedom Festival" is what it's called. Always on the third weekend in June. It's a big todo with food, games, craft booths, dog frisbee contest, music. My son's troop has a water ballon booth with a setup to launch the ballons - it's free, alot of fun, and very popular with the kids.

The reason why I bring this up is the festival is about 3 blocks from the only kingdom hall in town. Some of the festival parking is in a field next to the hall. I just know that the two congregations in that hall are thinking that they are giving a fine witness to all those worldly ones who will be parking in that lot and to the ones who will be lining up to see the parade later on today.

Poor jws, don't they know most people don't give a crap what they are doing in that windowless hall?

    Fine witness indeed!

What kind of witness do they think they're going to give? Come join us and see how much less fun we have in life?

You got that one right. why are there no windows at the hall? So dubs cant see the fun everybody else is having, and everyone else cant see how boring they are. I guess in a sad way it works.

I know of a King Hall in my area and there's no windows. It sure makes the beautiful stained glass artworks of Christendoms churches look bad
