Well I'm glad you are alright, Richie. You take it easy....
Then we ended up talking about genital piercings and body modification in general (my Xray was LOL.)
THAT, sounds painful.....sort of.....

the nitro is a muscle relaxant - the heart is a muscle and arteries are made of smooth muscle cells

The doctor said that this ISN'T heart disease and it wasn't caused by high cholestoral (mine is right on the money) and it shouldn't happen again- this was a fluke.
Well hon, if you have health benefits, I'd want a second opinion. Ya I know you don't want to, but I don't see how he can just say "it shouldn't happen again." Maybe I'm being a worry wart but here's a like about angina from the Mayo Clinic you may want to read:

Is there a history of heart disease in your family? Genetic predisposition can be a factor.
And I agree with Mary; it never hurts to have a second opinion, especially on the ol' ticker. See a cardiac specialist.

I'm glad to hear you're OK, Richie. There's nothing like knowing for sure what you had rather than relying on speculation from a bunch of onlookers.

First thing tommorrow I'm making an appointment with a cardiac specialist for later this week.
Better safe than sorry.
As far as the nitro pills, i was told to keep them nearby and take one if I ever started having similar symptoms again. nothing about a headache- but I'd rather have one then feel that pain again.
And I'm trying to get a copy of the Xray too, there are some funny glowsss on there. lol.

I work in the medical division of the jail, and we get people all the time trying to fake heart attacks, they say they are having chest pains. I was told by the nurses that if they have a headache after taking the nitro, then they werent having a heart attack, but if they dont experience any headache then they probably are.
Im glad you are seeing a cardiologist, just to be on the safe side. -

Hi Sweetie! I am SO relieved that you are going to follow through and do the sensible thing.....I honestly don't think too many your age would do this! Keep us posted on how things are going for you, okay?
hugs,
