What makes a good JWD post?

Many post topics don't get a good response following because of who the poster is. A popular poster will get a lot of responses just because of the name of the poster, no matter what the topic is.

I have found duplicate topics made here on JWD, however, only the popular poster gets the most responses.

What makes a good JWD post? Just about everyone has something good to post and add to this forum.

Check out Lee's " The Best Of " there is a good mix of posters who have made many a good topic.

No one person dominates this Forum, some make topics much more than others, some make a few topics. All have made good post topics, some names get little notice others get all the notice. Why that is I don't know.

Any post that does anything to expose the deception of the Watchtower Society in any way, however small. Personal stories, even if they differ from others' stories, do this because they can expose the disunity within the Watchtower Society. I especially like those posts that blow open something new that the Tower is trying to pull, even before the members know.

I also like posts that speculate. Those take a resolution or some other piece of upcoming action and discuss what is going to become of it in the future. The popular one is the Kool-Aid edition of the Craptower next year. It is interesting to see what of those speculations is going to be the most accurate.

A post that makes you think

Whether it makes you think you agree, disagree, get annoyed, feel all warm and fuzzy

As long as it does not make you look at the computer screen, realise that the 10 seconds you invested in reading that post are gone forever and get annoyed that you bothered to turn your computer on in the first place

I appreciate the posts where active JWs come on and attack JWD and or opposers, and then "stays in there" as the responses roll back at them. Love a great impassioned debate.

Any post exposing the WT$ for what it is. I enjoy the way some posters can inject a little humour into almost any topic.

I've learned so much here from personal experiences and replies to them.

My all time favorite funny post was made by Terry when I was lurking a while back. Terry wrote a short story about Russell being resurrected and showing up at Beth Sarim and having a conversation with Rutherford. Hilarious stuff. I still smile when I think of that one.
