    Hi BB,

I think it's a case of the higher authorities not wishing to interfere in relgious practices. I know you posted to my thread http://www.jehovahs-witness.com/6/136995/1.ashx regarding Christopher Hitchens's Book God is Not Great - the case against religion. Hitchens's book actually highlights just what religion can get away with - including killing babies!

If I said here what I think about religion now I'd be deleted! So many innocent, screwed up, emotionally blackmailed, fable-believing, dogma-inculcated people walking the planet and letting the likes of the GB get away with it because they believe God is directing them (actually, they're so brain-washed, as I once was, that the bottom line now, because of all the fear and dogma-inculcation, is that they are afraid of dying).

What we need are people in high places with guts to expose religion for what it is.

Long live Dawkins, Hitchens and Harris.

    Ian

The Watchtower apocalyptic mindset puts a lot of members in mental hospitals. When I think of the countless young people many still underage who got disfellowshiped and thrown out of the house with no support who then went to the dogs or died it makes my blood boil!
