    Well they are two-faced bastards (please pardon my language) They love charity. The Charity laws in the UK they take full advantage of giving them tax free status and money etc. If people donate to them they love - but oh dear - no JW etc is allowed to donate to "Worldly causes" or "Satan's system"

    I have a feeling that volunteering for a charity would be looked down upon, unless the JW could show his true motive was to use his job to gain the trust of people and then get them to agree to have a JW indocrination study in the Society's books.

    Actually, with all their rules for who to give to and what to give, and if to give, and how to give, and when to give, I feel that they feel that:

    THERE IS MORE HAPPINESS IN RECEIVING THAN GIVING.

    Accept Christmas gifts but don't give any.

    Accept products made from donated blood but don't donate blood.

    Accept help from the Red Cross or the Salvation Army but don't donate to "ungodly" organizations.

    Accept tax breaks as a religion while saying all religions are false; updated to except the WTS.

    and on and on
